Ingredients (serves 4)
- 350g Annabel’s Deliciously British strawberries
- 1 jalapeno pepper
- 1 red onion (finely chopped)
- 1 lime (juiced)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small bunch of fresh coriander (chopped)
- Sea salt & black pepper
Hull and chop Annabel’s Deliciously British strawberries. Finely chop a red onion and combine both in a bowl.
Slice the jalapeno pepper in half and cut off the stem, use a spoon to scrape out the seeds. Mince the jalapeno, then add to the strawberries and onion.
Add the freshly squeezed lime juice, a drizzle of olive oil and chopped coriander, to taste.
Toss together and season with a little sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste.
Serve over fish, chicken, or breaded cheese. This spicy strawberry salsa is also great alongside salads or as a dip with tortilla chips!
